How to Pack a Printer
Step 1 Get a box.
We recommend you use the original OEM (original manufacturer box) if possible or a new double wall, heavy-duty corrugated cardboard box. A new box is suggested instead of reusing an old one due to the integrity. A new box is at its full strength and has not been compromised by humidity or the wear and tear of previous use.
Step 2 Pack your printer.
To avoid damage in transit, wrap all items separately in bubble wrap, foam or Instapack Foam Packets. Extruders, spare parts or anything else that may not be connected to the printer should be individually wrapped. Securing the axis by zip ties to prevent movement is also recommended. Finally, to reduce shipping rubbing or possible puncture, keep 5-6 cm between the printer and the walls of the box.
D. Other Items: Please include the following additional items in the box.

Step 3 Shipping label.
Print out two shipping labels. Place one inside of the box (attaching it to the printer) in the event the outside shipping label gets damaged or lost in transit. The second label affixed to the box for shipping.
Step 4 Tape up your box.
Using proper packing tape and the H taping technique is highly recommended.
